The Picket Fence can be purchased from the Market in the Farming section for 299 coins.

Picket Fences provide fair protection, being stronger than Wooden Fences but less strong than Plank Fences. The Picket Fences are often used as primary protection against zombies. Especially when the player a lower level. When the player is a higher level these fences are often used as a second protection layer.

This type of fence is given for free at the start of the game in over 30 sections. While most of them are heavily damaged, they can be used to protect the player, crops and buildings (while zombies do not attack buildings in the game, they will destroy crops and hurt players (shortly).

The fence will have a 'health' of 5, with 1 being the minimum before being destroyed. Fences can be completely restored for 100 cash in the market, including completely demolished (but not removed) fences.
